The route
One line, northwest to the lakefront
From the northwest boulevards down to the river and back up the lakefront. Six neighborhoods on one line, all on sale now. All six run Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31. 21+ with valid government issued ID.

Four bars between Division and North, and nobody is making decisions anymore. Still moving, technically.

Stops sit on true relative geography, northwest at the left and Lake Michigan at the right. Rail lines are the real CTA service at the nearest station to each neighborhood.

One ticket, one night, three neighborhoods: River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park.
Start in one neighborhood and finish in another. The Citywide Pass gets you into every bar on the River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park lineups, on the night you pick.
Free entry and the drink special at every stop, entry to the costume contests, and one wristband for all three neighborhoods.

The costume contest
$500 cash in River North, Wicker Park, Gold Coast and Old Town. $250 in West Loop and Lincoln Park.
Tables, if you want one
VIP tables and bottle service at bars on the route. Request a table with the bar, the night and your party size.

Every photograph on this site is River North 2025. West Loop ran in 2025 and was not photographed, and Wicker Park, Gold Coast, Old Town and Lincoln Park are new this year. We are not going to show you River North and call it Gold Coast.

Every stop runs its own room and its own DJ, so the crawl does not sound like one playlist. This is what the season sounds like in the meantime.

How it works
Pick your night and your neighborhood
Six routes, each running on October 30 and 31. Each neighborhood-night is a separate ticket. The Citywide Pass covers River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park for one night.
Buy a ticket for your night
Pick the neighborhood and the night. Each night is its own ticket and its own wristband.
Collect your wristband
At the Thursday pickup party or on the day, at any pickup listed for your night. Bring your ID and your ticket QR code. Times and locations are on the wristband pickup page, and every bar's window is on the lineup.
Walk the route
Free entry at every bar on your lineup, and a free shot or drink special at each one. Pick up your wristband first.
Enter the costume contest
Rules and prizes publish with the lineup.
The list
The venue list, and when it locks
Every venue on every route is published on a date we name in advance, with its address, its door window and its drink special window. From that date the list is locked.
If a venue drops out after the lock date
We tell every ticket holder by text and email within 24 hours, name the replacement, and you can transfer your ticket to another Crawlloween night or to another person at no cost.
Until the lock date, here is where we actually ran in 2025
Two rows per stop, on purpose. The door window and the drink special window are separate clocks and we do not print them as though they were one.

Costume contest
In 2025 we paid $500 cash in River North and $250 cash in West Loop. Entry was posting your costume on the night and tagging @bizzy.nights.
2026 runs three nights, so the prize structure and the official rules publish with the lineup. Judging happens at a named venue at a named time, not by whoever the promoter likes.

Six questions, and you get one of four alter egos with a costume direction, an effort level and a budget you can actually hit before October.
Then, if you want it, add a photo and get a portrait of the finished look to post. That step is optional, and Crawlloween does not save the photo.

Wristband pickup
No wristband, no entry. Go to any pickup listed for your neighborhood and night.
Thursday October 29, pickup parties
5pm to 9pm. Hubbard Inn for River North, Icon for every other neighborhood. Free shot for the first 100 guests, candy and costume prize info.
On the day
Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31, in every neighborhood running that night: 3pm to 8pm, or 5pm to 8pm in Lincoln Park, Old Town and Gold Coast. Before or during the first half of your crawl.
Bring valid government-issued photo ID. 21+, no exceptions.
Collecting for a friend? You need their barcode or QR code. Their name is not enough, and staff will turn you away without it.
No countdown, no fake scarcity
Prices step up on dates we publish in advance. That is the only clock on this site, and it is real.

What does the ticket include?
Free entry at every bar on the lineup, a free shot or drink special at every stop, one wristband for the night and entry to the costume contest.
Are drinks included?
Every bar on the lineup gives wristbands a free shot or a discounted drink. Anything past that, you buy at the bar.
Do I still pay a cover charge at each bar?
No, not inside the published window for that venue. Windows vary by bar. A late venue might open to wristbands at 10pm and an early one might close at 9pm, and we publish every window with the lineup before you buy.
Which neighborhoods run on which night?
All six neighborhoods run Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31. You buy one neighborhood on one night, or a Citywide Pass for River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park together.
When does the 2026 venue list publish?
On a date we name in advance, with addresses, door windows and drink special windows. The 2025 routes for River North and West Loop are already published on this page if you want to see the shape of it.
What happens if a venue drops out after I buy?
We text and email every ticket holder within 24 hours, name the replacement, and you can transfer to another Crawlloween night or to another person at no cost.
Can I get a refund, and can I transfer my ticket?
All sales are final, unless you add Insurance at checkout. To transfer, email info@bizzynights.com with the new name before your night.
What is the age requirement?
21 and over with valid government-issued photo ID. No exceptions, at check-in or at any venue on the route.
Can I pick up a wristband for a friend?
Yes, with their barcode or QR code. Without it, no.
How far is the walking?
It depends on the neighborhood. Gold Coast is one stretch of Division Street, so the walks are short. Old Town is six bars on Wells and Clark. River North sits mostly inside a four-block box. Wicker Park spreads across Division, North and Milwaukee, so plan on longer walks there.
Which neighborhood should I pick?
If you want the biggest crowd, River North. If you want eight bars on one street, Gold Coast. If you want to eat halfway through, West Loop. If you want a smaller night, Old Town, six bars on Wells and Clark. Wicker Park and Lincoln Park are new this year. Cannot decide between River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park? The Citywide Pass covers all three.
What is the difference between one neighborhood and Citywide Pass?
A neighborhood ticket covers one route on one night. The Citywide Pass is also one night, but it covers every bar in River North, West Loop and Lincoln Park, so you can switch neighborhoods during the night.
There is another event using the name Crawlloween. Is it yours?
No. A different company is running a West Loop event under the same name on October 31. Ours is run by Bizzy Nights, your confirmation email comes from Bizzy Nights, and every ticket link on this site goes to our listing. Check the organizer name before you buy, on either site.
Does it run if it rains?
Yes. Rain or shine.
Do prices go up?
Yes, on dates we publish. The ladder and the next step-up date go on this page and on every neighborhood page.
