Off Six Corners, where Milwaukee, North and Damen come together. Wicker Park is the only one of our six neighborhoods where bars hold 4am licences, and two of them run to 5am on Saturday morning. Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31.

Why Wicker Park

The night does not end at two

Every other route in this city closes when the 2am licences close. Wicker Park has 4am rooms, and two bars on this stretch hold 5am Saturday licences, so a crawl here can still be running when the rest of Chicago has gone home. We build the route to finish in one of them.

Live music and dance floors over bottle service

This is a stage-and-DJ neighborhood. The rooms on this route have programming, not table minimums.

Costumes are made, not bought

Wicker Park runs 25 to 35 and thrifted, and the costume contest here is the hardest of the six to win.

The list

The lineup, and when it locks

The Wicker Park route and every door window publishes on a date we name in advance. We are not going to list bars here before they have signed, because half the value of a locked list is that nothing on it was a guess.

When it publishes it carries every address, every door window and every drink special window, as two separate timed rows per stop. A discounted drink and an open door are different clocks and we do not print them as though they were one.

If a venue drops out after the lock date

We tell every ticket holder by text and email within 24 hours, name the replacement, and you can transfer your ticket to another Crawlloween night or to another person at no cost.
